Trees

These handmade oak trees are inspired by the beautiful oak tree that grows opposite my home. Each of the tree trunks start life shaped on the potters wheel, then modified and carved to form the bark and branches. Each of the leaves are hand cut from real oak leaves so they are all unique, and each tree has one or two hand made birds resting in its branches. You can see and buy a selection of my work at the Octagon Contemporary Crafts gallery in Diss, Norfolk  https://m.facebook.com/octagoncrafts/

Tableware

All my tableware is made in small batches on my potter’s wheel. I decorate them by hand using a combination of coloured slips and food-safe glazes so that each one is unique to Wayside Pottery. I have some pieces in stock but I also make pieces to order. Get in touch if you would like some of my work for your home or you can find a collection of my work at the Octagon Contemporary Crafts gallery in Diss, Norfolk

Handbuilt decanters
and candle holders

I  hand-build each piece using textured clay to make these bottle vessels with bold silhouettes. The pieces in this range are designed as either candle holders or decanters. The pieces stand alone or can be grouped together for a striking display.

Wayside garden range

These pieces are designed to brighten your garden, patio or balcony even in the depths of winter. I make decorative cane toppers, bird feeders, candle holders and garden planters. I will have a selection of these pieces for sale at the festivals and events I attend each year.
