Clare Goodman, Wayside Pottery

Let's be positive.....

In past years, during the spring, summer and autumn, I would take my work and my potter’s wheel to events, festivals and art fairs all over East Anglia. This year is looking a bit better than 2020 so I am planning a number of events and courses. Please check my Wayside Pottery Facebook page for details and updates but so far I am planning to be at Strumpshaw Tree Fair, Folk East festival, and my own Thrigby Autumn Arts Festival to name a few. Hopefully, as the crisis subsides we can gather again and enjoy more great events. In the meantime, keep safe and look out for updates on my Facebook and Instagram pages or drop me an email.

A few words about Thrigby Autumn Arts Festival ...

I started running Thrigby Autumn Arts Festival in the grounds of Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens in 2017. This 2-day event showcases artists, designer-makers and craftspeople from all over our region, giving them the chance to demonstrate their considerable skills, sell their work, and it provides opportunities for visitors to try their hands at all sorts of different arts and crafts. We have printmaking, pottery, wood carving, loom weaving, spinning, felting, stone carving, willow weaving and painting available for children and adults to enjoy.

We had to mothball the festival in 2020 but I am keeping everything crossed that we can host Thrigby Autumn Arts Festival on the weekend of September 11th and 12th 2021. I will keep you posted via the festival pages on Facebook and Instagram (follow us on @autumnartsfestival) or you can email me: if you want more details.
