In past years, during the spring, summer and autumn, I would take my work and my potter’s wheel to events, festivals and art fairs all over East Anglia. However, the current global pandemic has put a stop to all of that for the time being. In the past, you could find me at Folk East festival, Strumpshaw Tree Fair, Bluebirds Handmade Market, Camp Quirky Festival, Tribe Norfolk Weekend, and my own Thrigby Autumn Arts Festival to name a few. Hopefully, as the crisis subsides we can gather again and enjoy these great events once more. In the meantime, keep safe and look out for updates on my Facebook and Instagram pages or drop me an email.
I started running Thrigby Autumn Arts Festival in the grounds of Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens in 2017. This 2-day event showcases artists, designer-makers and craftspeople from all over our region, giving them the chance to demonstrate their considerable skills, sell their work, and it provides opportunities for visitors to try their hands at all sorts of different arts and crafts. We have printmaking, pottery, wood carving, loom weaving, spinning, felting, stone carving, willow weaving and painting available for children and adults to enjoy.
We had to mothball the festival in 2020 but I am keeping everything crossed that we may be able to organise Thrigby Autumn Arts Festival for some time later in 2021. I will keep you posted via the festival pages on Facebook and Instagram (follow us on @autumnartsfestival) or you can email me: email@example.com if you want more details.
